Founder
Stéphanie Roth Gana was born in 1980. She grew up in Zinal, in the heart of the Alps, studied in Sion, then at the University of Neuchâtel, in ethnology and sociology. After 1 year spent in Siargao, she decided to found the association Siargao Masaya. She loves sports, children, dance, plants, traveling to discover new cultures.

Pre-school teacher
Jasmine Agudo Gurrobat was born on February 14, 1969. She grew up in General Luna and became a schoolteacher. She worked for several years as a teacher in a private preschool. She loves education and children. She likes to sing and play the ukulele. She is a mother of 6 children and with her husband, they have a boarding house and welcomes many tourists.

Pre-school teacher
Raquel Agudo Magaluna was born on August 19, 1973. She grew up in General Luna. She then worked for 13 years as a teacher at a pre-school school. She is a mother of 5 children and 2 grandchildren. Raquel and her husband run a small local business called Siargao Gold (creation of coconut oil). They also have guest rooms. Raquel likes to sing and plant.

Micro-credit manager
Jolan Egot Saavedra was born on June 13, 1991. He grew up in Catangnan. He graduated in office automation and worked for 3 years in a rural bank in Siargao. Currently he holds a fruit and vegetable shop and he is also a part-time tourist guide. He likes to surf and to help others.

Sponsorship Manager
Leah Marie Diaz was born in 1989. She grew up in Tagum City (Davao). She passed her university degree in Agricultural Engineering from Southeastern Philippines University. Her love for a simple life and close to the nature made her decide to leave the city and to settle on the island of Siargao. She loves sports, gardening, traveling and meeting new people.
